One of the UK’s Top 20 Care Home Groups in 2022 has a fantastic opportunity for an experiencedRN Adult or RMN to join them as a Deputy General Manager (Clinical Lead) at their luxury nursing home in picturesque Bedlington.

Purpose-built within meticulously landscaped grounds, the home can accommodate a wide range of complex healthcare needs – from frailty and respite care to more advanced physical and neurological conditions such as MS and Motor Neurone Disease. Now, we’re looking for a Deputy Manager with the drive and clinical background to help the MDT deliver specialist care that surpasses the highest of standards.

As Deputy General Manager, you will be the Clinical Lead for the home, working closely with the General Manager to monitor regulatory compliance, assure quality in all areas, and oversee your team’s clinical practice, development, and wellbeing. In doing so, you will ensure that every resident experiences the best care and quality of life at all times.

This is a permanent, full-time role (40h, days only) for a Deputy General Manager (Clinical Lead).

Person specification:

  • You must be registered with the NMC as a Registered Nurse (RN Adult) or Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN).
  • You must have experience in caring for older patients with complex health needs.
  • You must have experience in clinical management – including conducting risk assessments and investigations, managing a budget, and supporting the building and development of a clinical team.
