About the Business:

Consortia are currently recruiting for a Decisioning Lead for one of our key FinTech partners based in London. They are currently a rapidly growing business and the team we are recruiting for are within the Insight, Data & CRM team. A key driver for their recent phenomenal growth is due to their commitment within their Data department and this then allows them to bring the best service for their customers.

Consortia are looking for someone who holds a passion for working within a mission driven culture and who is looking for a new role where they will excel at a rapid rate and ready to build a solid roadmap in this ambitious space. As their Decisioning Lead you will be focussing around a new model they are building in the Data Science and Machine Learning capability space. Building, measuring and optimising the system which will be most beneficial for the customer at evaluating how well their internal engine is working towards encouraging those best next steps.

Your Role:

As their Decisioning Lead you will be designing, building and owning their new decisioning engine which will be determining the best next action for a customer and help them to view the correct content, messaging, features that will lead to their next action on the platform.

Role Responsibilities:

• Working with the wider business to determine the right metrics to optimise
• Structure and lead the team to build & maintain the models that underpin the decisioning
• Build on current frameworks of the decisioning system, determining the right tools and technologies to use to optimise the system and future proof the deliver in this area
• Work with our data engineering colleagues and Azure, databricks, dbt and other technologies as needed to establish their decisioning system

Key Competencies:

• Experience delivering decisioning at scale in a B2C business
• Experience as a Data Scientist or Machine Learning Engineer
• Experience building and leading teams of Data Scientist / Engineers
• Capable of communicating complex ideas
• Knowledge of up to date tech technologies and good experience in machine learning, data science and automation
• Having experience working in Python is key
