As a Risk Governance Lead in the ICB Risk Strategy & Execution (RSE) team, which has responsibility for Risk Strategy Implementation and Expansion, Governance, Control Management and Business Management, you will own and implement the governance framework for the ICB risk organisation. You will have responsibility for regulatory, business and/or strategic governance programs and initiatives; provision of Committee, Board and LOB reporting as they relate specifically to risk and will manage governance for risk input and review of New Business Initiatives. You will work in close partnership with the business areas and functional teams aligned to both ICB and the broader firm.

In support of both local and corporate requirements, and in accordance with local business requirements, you will liaise directly with senior members of the risk team establish and maintain the end-to-end ICB governance framework.

Job responsibilities
  • Provide secretariat support, including planning, organising and proactively following-up to meet both regulatory and LOB requests.
  • Support specific reporting requirements for relevant Legal Entity Boards and LOB committees and fora, this will involve managing and maintaining agendas and trackers, taking appropriate minutes, documenting actions and follow ups.
  • Manage and review materials for quality and consistency and preparation of materials to established high standards.
  • Manage data collation and timely reporting for relevant Board reports, and materials in accordance with established deadlines.
  • Attend product cabinet meetings within ICB to manage New Business Initiative pipeline on behalf of the risk team.
  • Develop and build a strong network of internal stakeholder relationships in support of delivering key ICB risk governance materials.
  • Continuous review and development of governance processes to identify opportunities for improvements.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Proven, relevant professional experience in a governance, regulatory, risk, finance, or audit background.
  • Proven excellence in time management skills with ability to manage complex work plans, with multiple deliverables whilst retaining a consistent, strong attention to detail is required.
  • Ability to operate in an inclusive team environment, building relationships and leveraging strong influencing skills.
  • Proactive, self-starter able to consistently deliver work of a high standard with ability to work independently within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with proven ability to prepare presentation materials for both senior audiences and broader group/team meetings with proficient skills in Power Point and Excel.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to reconcile, analyse and interpret data, and to summarise key messages for providing commentary.
