Program / Project Manager

A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Program / Project Manager to join the team at a rapidly expanding EV charging company in Greater Manchester.

The mission of the business is to give EV drivers more chargers in more places which are easily accessible and cost-effective.

The Project Manager will be responsible for the delivery of additional public and private funded chargers to expand and upgrade the existing network.

Key Tasks:

• Project planning and delivery - manage all installations from design feasibility through to handover

• Project tracking and reporting ensuring efficient delivery of connection projects

• Manage sub-contractors and suppliers ensuring all work is complete in line with KPI's; time, cost quality, safety

• Visit sites, complete surveys and provide clear direction of the project

• Maximise customer satisfaction and identify areas for improvement

• Contract review and management

Key Requirements:

• Qualified in a relevant engineering/technical discipline

• Knowledge of electrical engineering / power connections

• Demonstrable experience of Project Management / Program Management / Contract Management

• Experience of managing commercial installs with civil and power elements

• Sub-contractor and supplier management experience

• Commercial acumen

• Strong leadership and organisation skills

• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel

• Knowledge of Electric Vehicle Network (EV) - advantageous
