We are looking for a Front of House Assistant / Receptionist to join our team at Fuel Studios in Norwich (approx 8.30 am to 4.30 pm Mon to Friday). In this role, you are the face of TCN to our occupiers, expressing the vibrancy of the TCN brand and behaving in line with our values in everything you do.
Key responsibilities are to:
- Manage the Fuel Studios reception desk
- Answer email, phone, visitors and members enquiries in a friendly and professional manner
- Manage post and parcels
- Manage the meeting room booking system and check rooms are clean and tidy, to ensure they are correctly appointed between meetings.
- Assist with managing breakout and co-working space
- Maintain and input key fobs for new members on reception and update data
- Assist with fire evacuations, learn fire procedures.
- Assist the campus management team to ensure our buildings are maintained in tip top condition, preserving their quirky feel and run efficiently to our occupiers’ satisfaction
- Assist in running of Events at Fuel Studios, encourage all to contribute to community events
- Spot opportunities with local partners to build income and community feel
- Identify ways in which we can develop the surprising and quirky nature of the TCN brand
- Build great relationships with our occupiers based on mutual respect
- Liaise with other team members to exchange and uphold best practices and deliver the TCN core values
Relationship Management – Customer and Community
- Be the first point of contact for members
- Develop and maintain good contacts / relationships with the local community.
- Update and maintain members contact database, as well assisting with Kube and Essensys (wifi).
- Develop and maintain knowledge of our IT packages and prices to effectively service occupiers IT needs and provide first line support.
- Record and notify TCN of campus occurrences requiring further intervention.
- Develop and maintain good knowledge of who does what at TCN to facilitate efficient communication and problem solving
Administration Support
- For Head Office Team including the Head of Facilities Health and Safety Compliance
Personal Skills and Experience
- Demonstrate a high level of interpersonal skill (warmth, diplomacy) and an upbeat, positive attitude
- Demonstrate an understanding of customer service and hospitality
- Understand the importance of adaptability in dealing with different occupiers
- Demonstrate the ability to resolve occupier issues in a constructive professional manner
- Understand the role of boundaries and the ability to move between occupier needs and the needs of the organisation
- Have the ability to work autonomously
- Be resourceful and creative in problem solving
- Enjoy multitasking and dealing with the unexpected
- IT skills and administration experience (Outlook, Excel, Word, Sharepoint, Databases etc)

Salary: £20,000.00-£21,500.00 per year
