- Compliance Solicitor

An award-winning, fast-growing law firm based in Guildford who have a great reputation within the legal market.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting the compliance director on compliance queries
- Reviewing and approving documentation prepared by consultant lawyers, ensuring accuracy and protecting against the risk of negligence and fraud
- Providing technical support to the compliance team on complaints and queries
- Reviewing and signing Land registry certificates
- Approving non-completion payment requests eg SPAs/ estate administration
- Offering technical legal support and clarity to the in-house team on property and litigation matters
- Qualified solicitor, 3-5 PQE
- Experience in transactional conveyancing/ property/ negligence litigation
- Understanding of Anti-money laundering regulations
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to work at a fast pace
- Teamwork skills
