About the role:

We are looking for a Sales Account Manager to work in our team based in Hounslow, London area. The role is responsible for working with Business Development Manager to achieve sales of electric buses.

Main Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Work with Business Development Manager to achieve sales of electric buses;
  • Develop a business plan and sales strategy that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability;
  • Define sales target accounts with a structured follow-up and forecast process;
  • Initiates and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate new markets/segments;
  • Build relationships with customers and key external stakeholders;
  • Identify new clients and right market opportunities on right occasions;
  • Manage a portfolio of customer accounts, acting as main point of contact with our customers
  • Collate customer’s requirements and product specifications, working with various internal teams to deliver required outcomes;
  • Establish regular contact with our project management team to monitor progress of sold vehicles, ensuring customer requirements and delivery milestones are met;
  • Represent the company at relevant industry events;
  • Develop and implement sales tools/materials;
  • Engage in market research regularly via various channels to monitor market trends;
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes;
  • Other related activities and contingent assignments;
  • Report to Business Development Manager.

Ideal candidate profile:

  • Minimum 2 years Sales/Customer Account Management experience in automotive industry (ideally in bus, coach or truck) with extensive B2B network and very good connections to PTAs and PTOs
  • Proven sales/commercial track record
  • Good understanding about electric vehicles and/or buses required
  • Strong communication, presentation and relationship-building skills
  • Good command of English is essential, both written and verbal
  • Proactive approach and result-oriented
  • Ability to deliver a high quality of customer service
  • Good team player and resourceful
  • Able to travel within the UK on a frequent basis, some international travel may be required occasionally
  • Experience with CRM tools would be advantageous
  • Computer knowledge and efficiency, including MS Office
  • Has right-to-work in the UK
